The steamroller was not invented by a single person, but it was developed over time by various tractor manufactures. Britain was a large exporter of the steamroller to the world over the years. Aveling and Porter firm probably being the most popular company. But in the early 19th century, Earl Stanhope invented a press made entirely out of iron. The first steamroller was invented around 1859. The steamroller is a heavy steam-powered vehicle having a roller for crushing, compacting, or leveling materials used for making a road.
Steamrollers developed over time by more people making them and people buying them. steamrollers typically only applies to largest examples like making roads. there is different kinds and different shapes of a steamrollers. J.I. Case made a roller for farms. all steam rollers are powered by steam engines.
