Technology Comes to Gloucester By Lindsey Parrish B-Block

     The technology in the picture I chose was the telegraph. The non-electric telegraph was first created by Claude Chappe in 1794. The telegraph was a system that sent and delivered messages and news. Over time people began making the telegraph better. In 1835 the electric telegraph was invented by Samuel Finely Breese Morse. The electric telegraph was faster and easier.

    The picture was taken around the 1800's. This is because the telegraph was created 1794 and the new and improved one was 1835 so its in the middle.
